Counselling in Warrington and surrounding areas. Face to face, online and Walk & Talk.

Life changes. Sometimes you choose it. Sometimes it happens anyway.

You might be:

becoming a parent, changing jobs or moving on from a relationship

looking at your life and wondering if it’s what you want

anxious, stressed, burnt out or low

going through the perimenopause or menopause

not sure what’s wrong, just aware that things feel different

TALK IT THROUGH

You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or just not like yourself. You might know what’s wrong. You might not.

Either way, you start by telling me what’s going on. I’ll listen.

MAKE SENSE OF IT

I’m Nadine, a trained counsellor in Warrington. I use Person Centred, ACT, CBT and Psychodynamic therapy. I have a special interest in perimenopause and menopause, health anxiety and the emotional impact of physical and life changes.

I work with stress, burnout, depression, loneliness, caring responsibilities and relationship difficulties.

Together we work out what’s going on and find an approach that’s useful and manageable.

FIND YOUR WAY FORWARD

Over time, you may:

see patterns that keep you stuck

make sense of your thoughts, feelings and reactions

understand how your experiences shaped the way you see yourself

respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions

cope better with change and uncertainty

get clearer on what matters to you

feel more comfortable being yourself

How I work

I use ACT, a modern, evidence-based therapy that helps you to build a different relationship with your body, thoughts, and emotions

We work together, at your pace

I won’t judge, and I won’t tell you what to do

I don’t have your answers. I’ll help you find them

I’ll tailor sessions to you

“Nadine is easy to talk to and non-judgemental.

I feel like I’m getting where I need to be in my mindset. She helped me so much get out the rut I was in.

She listened to me and wasn’t judgemental.”
